Sailing yachts are equipped with a motor and are rented for cruises on the river with a captain. Yacht charter is booked in advance and prepaid.

"Olga" is a cruising motor-sailing yacht, built according to an individual project from wood and composite materials.
Technical specifications:
- length 10 meters, width 3.30 meters;
- layout: 3 separate 2-sleeping cabins, a bathroom with an electric toilet, a wardroom;
- gas stove, refrigerator, TV, modern music center with Wi-Fi Internet and music collection;
- electricity supply 12-220 W, all chargers for gadgets, solar panels, battery ensure uninterrupted power on the yacht;
- river and sea navigation, navigation maps (and even playing), an echo sounder for finding fish, fishing tackle, fins, masks;
- supply of fresh water of high quality, availability of all utensils and accessories for food, including barbecue, skewers.
The certified yacht "Olga" participates in sports, tourist and fishing events. The captain and owner of the yacht, Igor Ivanovich Berezhnoy, is a qualified captain who passed the Black, Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean seas on his yacht through the Bosphorus, Dardanelles.
The captain perfectly prepares fish soup, kebabs, as well as delicious, aromatic coffee and green tea.

On board his yacht he conducts master classes in yachting, creative photography with photo sessions. I love the river. Despite the fact that our Kherson region goes directly to two seas (Black and Azov), I grew up on the river and I love it. I remember my childhood when my friends and I could spend several hours without a break jumping from a bridge with different twists. The water is so warm that you don't want to climb out. The sun is hot, we already have blue lips, but we are swimming. It went on like this every summer. And I loved the river a lot.
Dnieper is beautiful everywhere
It tastes better and makes it easier to open your eyes underwater. And the beauty is always changing: floodplains, trees growing on the steep bank, permanent boats, boats with different motors. Trips on our own catamaran (it was such happiness, my grandfather got a catamaran from somewhere, and we rode it all our childhood. Instead of two people, the catamaran was packed with eight and we drove around the erik). Yes, and our dacha was located in the erik (that is, a small "branch" of the river). Generally, love the river very much.
Walking along the Dnieper is a pleasure
I wanted to write this post for a long time. But, probably, the optimal time for him is February, when it is cold outside, but it already smells like spring. And you want spring so much that you even write about warm days, a river and a walk.
Today I will tell you about one of the most river cities in Ukraine. Yes, yes, again about the Southern City of Kherson.
There are 19 rivers on the territory of our region. But the most important river is the Dnieper. Kherson is the last city before flowing into the sea. In its delta, the Dnieper forks into many small tributaries, rivulets and shallow eriks.
We decided to ride one of these tributaries. It was a wonderful sunny weather, the sun seemed to have agreed with the river to make our excursion even more interesting.
Summer vacation on the river is very beautiful
We got into the boat and drove off. Our driver is an old friend of my father, so we also got a discount.
We just expected to ride. But it turned out ... But, however, I will tell, you yourself will understand everything.
The boat ride is a pleasure. Especially if you are not just driving somewhere fast, but there is an opportunity to stop and look around. In our case, it was an excursion. So our driver just had to stop and tell us.

The best way to leave is from the city embankment. You will see Kherson from the side of the river. The central Ushakova street descends directly to the river from the railway station. And it looks very nice.

Kherson was built in 1778. After 16 years, the ..- cannon battleship "Glory to Ekaterina" was launched. So Kherson immediately became one of the centers of shipbuilding.

Tributaries
There is a lot of inflow here. Eyes run wide. We pick one and drive along it. The boat playfully picks up speed, spray scatter in different directions. You feel like the king of the river. Who sits on the boat and chooses the direction.
Cottages
There are a lot of summer cottages around. In Soviet times, they were handed out and built here, mostly by those who had the opportunity. That is why the houses look well-groomed and cozy.
Lilies
These lilies are included in the Red Book of Ukraine.
They are also a very sensitive barometer. Lily opens at exactly 6 am and closes at 6 pm.
In size, such a lily can reach up to 25 cm in diameter. It's a lot.
There are a lot of kayaks. It seems that these are not only professional rowers. But also ordinary people who took a kayak ride.

Construction of the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson
Our bridge was built 5 years before the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1985. It was a serious project, as far as I know, several designers refused to work. The bridge project was suspended several times. In total, construction lasted from 1977 to 1985, 8 years.

So we drive back. I also saw the last ship on our excursion and the first one in the Black Sea Fleet. It is called "The Glory of Catherine".
The 60-gun ship was built in 1783, just 16 years after the founding of the Southern City of Kherson.
